Green Schools
Green School Programme
The Green School Programme promotes long-term, whole school action for the
environment. The staff of Scoil an Chroí-Ró Naofa are committed to The Green School
Programme. Green Schools is a student-led programme, with the guidance of a co-
ordinator and with involvement from the wider community.
There are activities that occur regularly throughout the year such as WOW days,
charity fundraisers and national clean-up days etc. Other actions are carried out that
are relevant to the theme we are working on.
Our 8th Green Flag - Marine Environment
We are delighted to inform you that Scoil an Chroí Ró Naofa has achieved its 8th Green Flag for the Marine Environment. On Tuesday , 13th May, representatives from our Green School Committee attended the presentation ceremony in Hotel Kilkenny. They had fun engaging in the various activities and are very proud recipients of our 8thflag, which is the culmination of 2 years work, involving everyone in our school community. We look forward to our flag raising ceremony in June
Marine Environment

4th Class Green School Children had a great day at their Marine Workshop and were super representatives of our school. We are all very proud of them.
